pipe

This well used pipe with Paris makers trade label (Peristyle Montpensier) remains in very good condition and retains it's distressed but undoubtedly original wood, silk lined case.  The hinges, now long since failed, have been carefully replaced in antiquity with leather straps.  The pipe, although well used is in good condition and the whole has a very pleasing look or age and use.  Some stories to tell I think.
